Our wedding was a wonderful celebration with all our loved ones. The weather was perfect, and the location was everything we dreamed of!

We had our ceremony in our local church, and then the reception was at Minstead Lodge. We arrived in the mid afternoon for lawn games, sparkling wine, and photos. We used the Long Hall for our wedding breakfast, which was the perfect size and just so beautiful! We then headed back outside for more photos, lawn games, and bouncy castle while the team flipped the room round ready for our evening party. We then partied the night away!

We couldn’t resist; Minstead Lodge is a beautiful venue! The rooms are lovely, very well equipped, and good sizes. The grounds are stunning and the rhododendron under the arch really stole our hearts!

We knew that if we booked to have our wedding at Minstead Lodge the team would do everything they could to make the day run smoothly. 

We also knew that the Trust does fantastic work for adults with learning disabilities, and it was important to us to know that our money was going to support such a good cause.

Our wedding was green and gold, with wildflowers and an English Country Garden feel. We wanted to complement the venue and the grounds, and draw out the charm of the building!

My dress was from azazie, and shoes were from vinted!

All the flowers were from a lovely small florist in Lyndhurst called Kemlo and Kemlo, run by two sisters.

I had hair and makeup done by K&J Sisters from Bournemouth.

The whole day!

A particular favourite moment for me was taking a little walk around the Japanese garden in the moonlight with our baby; it was beautiful, peaceful, and really allowed us to soak in the magic!

Another favourite was the golden hour photos we got in the Turkey Oak field. They look like a fairytale!

We had food from P&P Catering, who were excellent. They provided a 2 course meal for our wedding breakfast and charcuterie buffet for the evening.

Drinks were provided by Minstead Lodge. We had prosecco and elderflower on arrival, and they were able to provide our favourite drink for the toast!

We hired a bouncy castle which was so much fun, and was a great way for our guests to let loose. We also had the lawn games from the Lodge, which worked perfectly on the middle lawn and the guests really enjoyed playing. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, so a large portion of our day was spent outside!
